Applications must be submitted on the 2026 Scholarship Application Form. Applications are available online or at the Town Office.
Review Process
Applications will be reviewed by a committee comprised who will make recommendations to the Holyrood Town Council for approval.
Evaluation Criteria
Academic achievement and level of community involvement.
Application Process:
- Provide a short essay on your future goals and aspirations, explaining why you feel you are a good candidate for this scholarship
- Provide letters of reference (principal/teacher/employer/community leader), where applicable
- Completed Application Form (this document)
- Copy of most recent report card
- Copy of acceptance letter for post-secondary institution
Eligibility
- Successful completion of Level III in 2026
- Current resident of Holyrood
- Accepted into a post-secondary institution
- Personal community involvement experience
Return completed application to the town office marked ‘Municipal Scholarship’ by the deadline date of Friday, May 22 at 12:00pm.

Town of Holyrood Municipal Scholarships are intended to be given to individuals to financially assist further development of their education at a post secondary institution of their choice.
Two successful applicants will receive a scholarship of $500 each. Please ensure the application is completed in full and received at the Town Office by the scholarship deadline.
