Municipal planning is carried out under the authority of the Urban and Rural Planning Act, 2000 

The Town of Holyrood is currently undertaking a review of its Municipal Plan and Development Regulations.

The Municipal Plan and Development Regulations below contain all Regulations and Policies that are enforced and applied by the Planning and Development and Infrastructure & Public Works Department in order to control development within the Town of Holyrood.
