Job Opportunity- Clerk Typist-Data Entry
The Town of Holyrood is seeking the services of a full-time permanent Clerk Typist-Data Entry person.
This is a unionized permanent position that reports to the Director of Financial Operations. The main priority is to provide general clerical support, to prepare documents, copy materials, carry out word processing, to organize files, to carry out routine office work, to assist with organizing the general office area, provide accounts receivable duties, receipt monies, cash handling and reconsolidation to assist staff order materials, to greet the public, be familiar with staff and town operations, to answer telephone calls and reply to emails, to welcome guests, direct inquiries, and to be the first point of contact in the front office.
The Clerk Typist-Data Entry Clerk must have completed a program of studies in secretarial studies or word processing (or equivalency). Knowledge & experience in cash handling is essential.
The current rate of pay approved for this position in 2023 is $23.10/hour (based on a 35 hour work week. Electronic applications (by email) only will be accepted and notification of receipt of your electronic application will be provided within 24 hours of receipt of your application.
