WATER SYSTEM UPDATE – ROTATIONAL WATER SERVICE

The Town of Holyrood is pleased to advise residents that the new pump is working and operating successfully.

With the pump now online, the immediate focus is to build water volume in the storage tank and gradually reintroduce water throughout the Town.

To assist with this process, the Town will begin rotational water shut-offs and service periods.

🚰 Water Service Schedule – Tonight

5:30 PM – 6:00 PM

Water will be turned on from Salmonier Line to the Harbour Main–Chapel’s Cove–Lakeview boundary, including all side roads within this area.

6:30 PM – 7:00 PM

Water will be turned on from Salmonier Line to the Conception Bay South Boundary, including Northside Road and all side roads in this area.

7:00 PM – 5:00 AM

Water service will be shut off Town-wide to allow the system to rebuild water volume overnight.

The Town will continue this rotational approach as necessary while we work to build sufficient volume and pressure within the system.

💧 Water Available to Residents

Bottled water will be available until 8:00 PM at:

📍 Town Office – 34 Salmonier Line

Water trucks for household use:

📍 NL Health Services – 363 Conception Bay Highway

Water truck available 24 hours

📍 Conception Bay Highway & Thermal Plant Road intersection

Water truck available until 7:00 PM tonight

Residents are asked to bring clean, suitable containers for water collection.

Residents may experience varying water pressure, discoloured water, and air in the lines as the system is brought back online. If you experience discoloured water, allow your cold-water tap to run until the water clears.

The Town will continue to monitor the system closely and will provide further updates as we work toward restoring stable, reliable water service throughout Holyrood.

We sincerely appreciate residents’ continued patience, understanding, and cooperation.
