The Town of Holyrood would like to advise residents that work to refit the sewer treatment plant will begin on Monday, May 4, 2026, and run for approximately two weeks. This work is part of ongoing efforts to maintain and improve essential municipal infrastructure.
During this period, residents can expect to see a noticeable increase in activity in the area, including construction equipment, heavy trucks, and personnel. For safety reasons, the public is strongly encouraged to avoid the area unless absolutely necessary.
As part of the refitting process, there may be intermittent septic odors. While every effort will be made to minimize any inconvenience, residents are asked to bear with these temporary conditions as the work progresses.
Please also be advised that absolutely no parking will be permitted along Byrne’s Road at any time for the duration of the project in order to ensure safe and efficient access for construction vehicles and crews.
