Job Title: Marina Supervisor
Location: Holyrood, Newfoundland
Work hours/dates: Fulltime seasonal work that requires weekends from April -October 31, 2023
Job Description: Maintenance of docks and Marina equipment and property. Keeping the marina, yard safe and organized for smooth operation. PPE is provided and expected to be worn. Collect debit/credit from Marina users including boat Launch and berth fees/travel lift fees. Drive machinery such as a Travel lift(training available) and a Skid Steer. Operating the fuel dock Gas and Diesel fuel pumps with checks on storage tanks and record keeping. Most work is outside in all types of weather that can be expected in Newfoundland. Make sure Marina users are following the rules and responsibility’s. Supervision of a student in July/August. Ability to work with little supervision.
Job Requirements: Valid Drivers License and vehicle, Computer skills including emails and spreadsheets, Record keeping skills, Ability to use various hand tools, Able to work around water, Work with Gas, Diesel, Oil, Organize day to day marina operations that includes moving, launching boats of various sizes. Good communication skills. Pleasure craft operator card, Training is available for marina equipment. Trades background required
Salary: 21/hour 37.5 hours/week
