The Town of Holyrood advises residents that water will be shut off tonight, Friday, August 21, from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Saturday, August 22, to facilitate necessary water system maintenance.
Affected Area:
📍3-Way Intersection on Valley Road to Harbour Main–Chapel’s Cove–Lakeview boundary, including all side roads.
Residents in the affected area should expect a water interruption throughout the maintenance period. Water will be restored to all households by 5:00 a.m.
đź’§Residents throughout other areas of Town may also experience water disruptions, lower-than-normal water pressure, air in the waterlines, or discoloured water during or following the work.
đźš°Once water service is restored, residents are advised to run their cold water until clear.
The Town of Holyrood apologizes for the inconvenience and thanks all residents for their patience and understanding. Through the process of area shutdowns, we have narrowed the suspect area in our attempt to find the leak that is plaguing us. The process has helped us identify and correct two leaks; however, there remains a further leak that we must find, and we will. Tonight, we are beginning infrared detection combined with our public works staff and their efforts. We ask for your continued patience and support as we leave no stone unturned to ensure residents have full access to their water services.
