The Town of Holyrood advises residents that water service was unable to be restored to the southside of Holyrood, from the roundabout to the CBS boundary, following the attempted restoration this evening.
The Town attempted to restore water service to residents between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM. However, due to a pump malfunction at Liam Hickey Drive, there is currently not enough water pressure to deliver water to this area.
Town staff are actively working to rectify the issue and restore water service as soon as possible.
We understand the frustration and inconvenience this situation is causing and sincerely apologize to affected residents. We appreciate your continued patience and cooperation while staff work to resolve the issue.
EMERGENCY WATER SHUT OFF – UPDATE
The Town of Holyrood advises residents that there has been a delay in today’s water system work.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding.
All residents will have water service restored by 6:00 PM today.
Residents will have water service from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. This one-hour period will allow residents to access water while crews work to ensure the water storage tank has adequate supply.
Following the one-hour restoration period, water service will again be interrupted as required to allow the tank to replenish.
We understand the frustration caused by these ongoing interruptions and appreciate your continued cooperation as we work to stabilize the Town’s water system.

The Town of Holyrood advises residents that an immediate town-wide water shut-off is required today, Friday, August 28, from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM due to a pump malfunction.
This temporary shut-off is necessary to secure the Town’s water supply and allow the water storage tank to replenish.

🚨 ADDITIONAL OVERNIGHT WATER SHUT-OFF
An additional town-wide water shut-off will be required tonight as crews continue work on the water system.

Residents may experience low or no water pressure, air in the waterlines, and/or discoloured water when service is restored.
Following restoration, residents are advised to run their cold water tap until the water runs clear.
