The Town of Holyrood is pleased to advise residents that water service should now be restored throughout the entire Town.
This is an important step forward, but the problems with our water system have not been fully resolved. Town staff continue to closely monitor the system, water levels and pressures as we work to stabilize the water supply.
🚰 TODAY’S WATER SERVICE
Our goal is to provide residents with a full day of water service today until 8:00 p.m.
At 8:00 p.m. tonight, a scheduled town-wide water shut-off will take effect and remain in place until 5:00 a.m. tomorrow morning.
This overnight shut-off is necessary to allow us to build additional water volume in the storage tank and ensure the entire Town can maintain adequate pressure and supply from the tank.
Intermittent water shut-offs may still be required if conditions within the system require them. Should additional shut-offs be necessary, notice will be provided to residents as soon as possible.
If you have water, please look after it. Use it wisely. 💧
Conserving water today will help us build the supply we need and give us the best opportunity to continue improving service. Tomorrow is a new day, and we are working hard to make it a better one.
