The Holyrood Fire Department, Central Avalon Ground Search & Rescue, and RCMP remained on scene throughout the night. Fire crews continued to protect exposures and action hot spots with minimal fire spread.
Forestry crews will be returning this morning.
The state of emergency, evacuation order and road closures remain in effect.
