Residents in the area of Route 60 from Beaumont Place to the bridge at the entrance of Holyrood, near the Seal Cove border (including all side roads) are asked to evacuate immediately.
Shelter has been set up at the Conception Bay South Arena located at 13 Mifflen Drive, CBS.
Motorist are asked to avoid the area.
