Water Supply Update

Overnight, residents answered the call, and again we saw a slow but steady increase. Usage up to 2:00 p.m. today reflected normal domestic use, and we are holding steady while seeing the typical daily decrease. We are still asking you to work with us and continue the great efforts you are making to help us return to a safe level.

Water Conservation Efforts:

‣ Turn off sprinklers

‣ No filling pools

‣ No washing vehicles

‣ Avoid running water unnecessarily

‣ Reduce water use to essential needs.

For residents in Holyrood who experienced evacuation and have private wells, water samples from Green Acres and Duff’s Road have all been collected. Results will take 1–2 weeks. Please wait for your results before drinking or cooking with your water. You may shower, do laundry, and carry out other similar activities, but do not consume the water until you have been notified of your test results.

Residents on the following roads who are on their own wells and wish to have their water tested must pick up a test kit at the Hubert A. Keough Municipal Building, 34 Salmonier Line, and return it before 12:00 p.m. on Monday, August 18. The Municipal Office will be open Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.:

‣ Brophy’s Road
‣ Butterpot Road
‣ Eagle Drive
‣ Furey’s Woodpath
‣ Lewis Road
‣ Marina Drive
‣ Sunset Drive
