Today the Water Resource Management Division staff will focus on collecting samples from Green Acres; will collect samples for inorganics and hydrocarbons; will also collect PFAS samples at three homes where foams were heavily used.
Today, private well testing kits will be dropped to homes on Brophy’s Road, Butterpot Road, Eagle Drive, Marine Drive, Sunset, Lewis Road, and Furey’s Woodpath.
Homeowners can drop these samples to the Hubert A. Keough Municipal Building, on 34 Salmonier Line.
Tomorrow WRMD will complete sampling on Green Acres if any remain and will then expand to Duff’s Road.
If anyone on Green Acres is missed, there will be samples collected at an alternate time.
