Build-A-Chilly
Let’s cover the town in snowmen! It’s your chance to build our mascot, Chilly, on your property. Email photos of your creation to info@holyrood.ca for your chance to win! Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place entries. In the event that there is no snow, bonus points will be given for creativity! Deadline to enter: Sunday, February 22 at 11:59pm.

🎨✨ Crystal Carnival – Play-Doh Making with GetMessyNL ✨🎨

📅 Date: Wednesday, February 18

📍 Location: Holyrood Fire Department

🎟 Cost: $10 per child

Get hands-on and creative at Play-Doh Making with GetMessyNL, a fun and interactive activity as part of Crystal Carnival!  Children will learn how to make their own Play-Doh through guided, step-by-step instruction — with plenty of messy fun along the way.  Parental supervision required.

Crystal Carnival 5K Chilly Dash 
Registration opens Friday, January 16 at 12:00 pm!  Join us for one of Holyrood’s favourite winter events on Saturday, February 21, 2026 — a fun and inclusive 5K walk/run for all abilities.
Race Route: Country Path → cross Conception Bay Highway → onto Northside Road to Holy Cross School
Check-in: 8:00–8:30 am | Race start: 9:00 am | Check-in location: Star of the Sea

🏒 Newfoundland Regiment Hockey Game – Crystal Carnival Event

Mary Brown’s Centre | Bus leaves from/returns to Hubert A. Keough Municipal Building (34 Salmonier Line)
$20 per person + surcharge

Cheer on the Newfoundland Regiment Hockey Team as they take on the Cape Breton Eagles in an exciting matchup with a 7:00 PM puck drop.  Your registration includes game admission and round-trip bus transportation. The bus departs promptly at 5:30 PM from the Hubert A. Keough Municipal Building, making it an easy, hassle-free way to enjoy the game.
