Holyrood Celebrates Canada Day – Event Cancellation
Due to current park conditions, coupled with rain forecasted throughout the day, the Holyrood Celebrates Canada Day festivities scheduled for Holy Cross Park have been cancelled.
The Town of Holyrood apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
This morning’s wreath laying will proceed as scheduled. Members of the public are welcome to lay a wreath at the Star of the Sea war memorial beginning at 10:45am. There will be no formal ceremony due to the repatriation of the Unknown Soldier in St. John’s.
