Forestry crews have left the scene for tonight. Holyrood Fire Department and RCMP will monitor for fire spread throughout the night. At this time, there remains no risk to public safety.

There is an active wildfire burning in the Holyrood/Butterpot Park area. The Holyrood Fire Department was dispatched earlier this afternoon, and provincial Forestry crews remain on scene.
Forestry personnel are actively working to combat the fire.
At this time, there is no concern for local residents. Additional information will be provided as necessary.
