Water Supply Update – August 16, 2025

Our water supply continues to improve as we slowly climb toward a more stable level, both for general use and for emergency services should they arise.

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible community. The residents of Holyrood have responded to our plea for help in conserving water and helping us move toward a more secure supply. We are now at 12 feet of water—just short of half a tank.

We ask for your continued patience and assistance; just a little more will get us to where we need to be.

Water Conservation Efforts:
‣ Turn off sprinklers
‣ No filling pools
‣ No washing vehicles
‣ Avoid running water unnecessarily
‣ Reduce water use to essential needs.

Our fire status has not yet changed, as that classification is decided by the Department of Forestry. It remains “Under Control”. Please continue to be careful, be mindful of the things around you, and take every precaution to ensure you and your neighbours are safe.

Anyone requiring bottled water can pick up at the Hubert A. Keough Municipal Building, 34 Salmonier Line, until 9:00p.m. tonight, and from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m tomorrow.
