🔸The fire in Holyrood is now classified as “Under Control” by the Department of Forestry.
🔸There is minimal fire behaviour observed with the fire fully contained with hose lines.
🔸The Holyrood fire remains at 22 hectares with no growth reported.
🔸Ground crews from the Holyrood Fire Department and other mutual aid fire departments continue to support Forestry crews with water supply for suppression efforts.
🔸Central Avalon Ground Search and Rescue will continue to monitor for hotspots.
🔸Residents are advised that a province-wide fire ban is in effect until at least September 7th, 2025.
