The Holyrood Fire Department (HFD) wishes to advise all citizens that a fire ban is currently in effect within the Region which includes the Town of Holyrood, Salmonier Line, Deer Park and Middle Gull Pond along with any area within the HFD response district.
In the meantime, HFD are asking people to be fire safe when using propane firepits and barbeques, to keep a hose or fire extinguisher handy and follow manufacturer’s requirements regarding clearances from combustible materials.
The HFD will monitor this situation closely and will update residents of any changes to the ban.
