Tim Horton’s Two Hour Tidy- Land and Sea Clean-Up

The Town of Holyrood, Marine Institute and Tim Horton’s are happy to once again launch the Two Hour Tidy- Land and Sea Clean-Up! A campaign to tidy neighbourhoods and all recreational green space in the Town. Every participant will be entered in a draw for a chance to win the following prizes:


  • 1 of 2 $300 cash prizes.
  • Tim Horton’s prizes (announced soon)
  • Marine Institute prizes (announced soon)
  • 2 Tickets to the SquidFest Beach Party (must be 19)
  • How do you win? Participants must take a picture at one of our 2 Hour Tidy drop-zones (see below) of their team or teammates dropping their bags to confirm their ballot for the prizes above.

Event Information
Date: Friday, June 10 – Sunday, June 12
Location: In Front of Your Property, neighbourhoods and Recreation Spaces
Registration: Teams of 1-10 people can register now by filling out the registration form below. After registration you will receive an email confirming your registration and how to pick-up your kit.

Sea Clean-Up
We’re thrilled to have the Marine Institute back handling the sea portion of our clean-up as they work with ROV’s and dive teams to clean Holyrood Harbour

Kit and Kit Pick-Up
Kits: Bags and gloves will be provided. Kits will have enough supplies for the amount registered on your team.
Kit Pick-Up:
Day Pick-Up: Between Monday, June 6 and Friday June 10, participants can pick-up their kits during regular business hours (8:00am-12:00pm or 1:00pm-4:00pm)
One Time Evening Pick-Up: Tuesday, June 7 between 6:00pm – 7:30pm.
Location: Hubert A. Keough Building

Bag Drop Zones
Participants can drop their Two Hour Tidy Bags to the following locations. Please look for the DROP ZONE sign and leave your bags. Please note we will only be collecting the Two Hour Tidy Bags, this is not an area to drop-off bulk garbage.

  • Festival Grounds Parking Lot
  • Hubert A. Keough Municipal Building- 34 Salmonier Line
  • North Arm Irving Parking
  • Murray’s Peak Parking Lot
