Mayor & Council Update: Town Facilities
February 19, 2022
Mayor and Council would like to notify residents that the Hubert A. Keough Municipal Building, Holyrood Heritage Building and Holyrood Fire Department will re-open to the public starting Thursday, March 3 at 8:00am. Until then, it is recommended to call the Town Hall by dialing (709) 229-7252 to see if you can be assisted remotely. While the Public Works Depot is not accessible to the public, Staff continue to be operational throughout the town.
To minimize the risk of transmission, Town staff continue to work between the office and their homes. If you would like to meet with someone directly, please set up an appointment in advance. Appointments can be made by dialing the number above or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. All municipal staff will return to the office starting Tuesday, March 1 at 8:00am.
The safety of our residents and staff is paramount. The Town continues to monitor the COVID-19 environment and adheres to the current guidance principals from Public Health. We ask all those entering a town facility to please wear a mask and maintain social distancing during your visit.
The next regular meeting of Council will take place virtually on Tuesday, February 22. All public meetings remain closed to the public at this time, and can be watched by visiting: http://holyrood.ca/town/council-meetings/
