Welcome to the Holy Cross Swim Park!
We are excited to announce that we will be opening our gates to the public with full access to all facilities, including washrooms, Lifeguards, and canteen, for the 2021 Summer season!
Hours of Operation
Our hours of operation run 7 days per week from 11:00 A.M. – 7:00 P.M. from July 1, 2021 to September 5, 2021. Our facilities will be fully operational during this time. This means that before 11:00 A.M. and after 7:00 P.M. swimming will be at your own risk and washroom and canteen services are not open.
Admission to enter Holy Cross Park is $2/person. All funds collected go directly back into our swim park helping our facility grow. Visitors should be aware that we do not take debit and there is no ATM onsite.

Capacity and Call Back List– Maximum 240 people
Because of the Global Pandemic, COVID-19 has changed our park in various ways. We are working effortlessly to ensure everyone will have the opportunity to enjoy time at the Holy Cross Swim Park this summer. However, because of COVID-19, the swim park must follow Government’s guidelines that are put in place. This means that the swim park will have a patron capacity of 230 – 240 persons at one time.
We are doing a pilot project of our new operations manual for the first 2-weeks and then if changes need to be made they will be updated to this page.
With the capacity of the park being 240 visitors at one time, we are implementing a first-come-first-serve and one-in-one-out plan. This means, once the park reaches the capacity of 240 persons, the park will be closed for entry until someone exits the facility.
Once we reach our capacity, we will start a call-back sheet. If your party wishes to be added to this sheet, we will need to know (1) name, (2) phone Number, and (3) number of persons within the party. Staff will notify you through a phone call when capacity permits. Please note we will only call twice. After 2 unsuccessful attempts, Staff will move to the next person on the list. Due to safety concerns, visitors are not allowed to line-up outside the park along Liam Hickey Drive.
The Holy Cross Swim Park Facebook page will post daily capacity updates to notify the public once we have reached capacity. Visitors can also call our Holy Cross Park Hotline by calling (709) 229-7033.
Upon your arrival at the swim park staff will be ask a member of your party a series of COVID-19 Screening Questions and you will be asked to provide your (1) Name, (2) Phone number and (3) Number of persons within your party. Admission to the park is $2.00 per person. Please have your admission fee ready when you arrive to ensure the line is moving as quickly as possible. After everything is filled out, you may enter the park and enjoy your day!
Once you enter the park we ask that all groups socially distance from those outside of your “Tight 20”.
Our canteen menu is still in the development stage. More information to come soon!
We will post regular updates once the swim park is open to the public. Please refer to the Facebook page for more information. If there are any questions, please feel free to send a message via Facebook Messenger and we will do our best to answer your question in a timely manner.
