December 6, 2016

The TOWN OF HOLYROOD has issued a Precautionary Boil Water Advisory to all residents residing from 631 Conception Bay Highway to the town boundary in North Arm, (excluding Woodford’s Station) as of
December 6, 2016.

The Precautionary Boil Water Advisory has been issued due to the connection and placing in service of the new water-main on the Conception Bay Highway. All the new infrastructure has been tested chlorinated and approved to be put in service.

Residents are advised to bring water that you might ingest to a rigorous rolling boil for one (1) minute.

For example, residents should boil water used for, but not limited to the following:

Making Ice
Washing fruits and vegetables
Making coffee/tea and other hot drinks
Making juice from concentrate and powders
Making infant formula and cereal

The Town of Holyrood is completing final testing to confirm water quality through the new water-main and will provide updates as they become available.

Please follow the above advisory until notified otherwise. The Town of Holyrood encourages that you communicate this advisory to your fellow residents that may be affected.
